Boise Cascade Wood Products has an opening for a Logistics Analyst I, II, or Sr. (depending on experience).
This is a hybrid position (Mon-Thurs in office, Fri optional remote work), but the right candidate must be located in Boise, ID or surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for coordinating/ procuring logistics activities for selected Boise Cascade Wood Products Mill(s) and or Region(s).
- Independent decision making with limited direction to successfully deliver products to internal and external customers.
- Constantly interact with manufacturing facilities, sales teams, IT Teams, railroads and motor carriers to insure on time delivery, competitive rates and world-class service.
- Proactively work with mill, motor carriers and customer base on issues, claims, schedules and communications.
- Must build a positive rapport for the company at all times, at all levels.
Qualifications:
- College degree, or equivalent work experience in related job function.
- Minimum of one (1) to ten (10+) years of experience in related job function; previous experience in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing or distribution preferred.
- Rail and truck procurement experience is a plus.
- Requires strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Position requires specialized on- the-job training period; candidate must possess or have the willingness to learn a variety of different aspects in the transportation industry.
- Ability to understand and solve a variety of different mathematical calculations.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on proofreading, editing, and supply chain terminology.
- Requires awareness of company policy and procedures as well as continually learning about new developments in the transportation industry.
- Experience Transportation Management Systems as well as knowledge in a variety of different computer applications including: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power BI and Outlook.
- Knowledge/ experience of various aspects in the rail industry a strong plus.

Logistics Analyst I: $58,400 – 87,600
Logistics Analyst II: $62,400 – 93,600
Sr. Logistics Analyst: $66,400 – 99,600
