The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our logistics team, ensuring that all logistics operations are running efficiently and effectively. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a challenging and rewarding role in a fast-paced environment.
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm
Hybrid working model available upon the completion of training (approx. 6 months)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Release domestic orders and confirm export containers
  • Run daily uplift sheets and email to transport/enter jobs into transport portal
  • Maintain daily trackers including inbound pallets and vehicle movements
  • Verify inbound/outbound product temps and maintain freezer temp logs
  • Liaise with vendors/engineers for maintenance and repairs
  • Manage/ plan and execute South island export orders
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including data entry and spreadsheet management
  • Provide administrative support to the logistics team as required

We're looking for someone with:
  • Administrative experience, preferably in a logistics or transport environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Basic understanding of logistics and export knowledge (desirable)
  • Highly organised and efficient, with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Quick learner with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
