Job Summary
The Logistic Trainee will support the logistics department in various operational tasks, gaining hands-on experience in supply chain processes, inventory management, and inbound/outbound logistics within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities
* Assist in the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.
* Support inventory management activities, including stock checks, cycle counts, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
* Learn and apply Valeo's logistics procedures and quality standards.
* Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, purchasing) to optimize material flow and resolve supply chain issues.
* Assist in the preparation of logistics reports and analysis to identify areas for improvement.
* Participate in projects aimed at improving logistics efficiency, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction.
* Operate and maintain logistics equipment as required, adhering to safety protocols.
* Perform administrative tasks related to logistics operations.
Job Qualifications
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
* Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
* Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
* Fluency in Spanish is required; English proficiency is a plus.
