The Multi-Domain Solutions (MDS) division at Leidos is seeking a Locksmith is responsible who will perform a wide range of locksmith services to support the security and functionality of facilities. This includes the installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of mechanical and electromechanical locks, doors, frames, and related hardware. The role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining safety and security standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
Install, replace, and repair mechanical and electromechanical combination locks.
Install and replace doors, door frames, and associated hardware (both passage and locking).
Respond to service requests and trouble calls, including lockouts and broken hardware.
Replace cabinet and furniture locks and perform key duplication services.
Retrofit safes and ensure functionality of locking mechanisms.
Maintain and update master key systems and inventory records.
Ensure compliance with applicable security procedures and safety standards.
Collaborate with other maintenance and facilities staff on related projects.
Use and maintain tools and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
Basic Qualifications
TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required
High school diploma or equivalent.
2–4 years of experience in facilities operations, maintenance, or space planning.
Working knowledge of facilities operations, routine maintenance, and building systems (HVAC, plumbing, etc.).
Familiarity with building codes, safety standards, and space utilization principles.
Ability to manage day-to-day objectives independently with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience coordinating with vendors and contractors.
Proficiency in budgeting and cost-control practices.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of relevant experience managing facility functions, including space planning and capital project coordination.
Certification in facilities management (e.g., IFMA CFM, FMP, or BOMA RPA).
Demonstrated experience with project planning, scheduling, and vendor management.
Background in real estate planning, leasing, or construction project oversight.
Proficiency with facility or space management software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, CAFM, CMMS).
Knowledge of contract negotiation and administration.
Experience developing and implementing long-term strategic facilities plans.
Understanding of workforce planning in relation to office space needs and utilization.

Pay Range:Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
