In this leadership role, you’ll champion safety initiatives, guide training programs, and maintain compliance standards, all while fostering a positive and supportive workplace.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee driver hiring and compliance processes.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to location trainers.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and workplace injuries; determine root cause and corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit compliance documentation; maintain accurate records.
- Deliver safety training to drivers and attendants, including passenger management.
- Conduct driver road checks and performance evaluations.
- Supervise staff responsible for safety, hiring, and training.
- Analyze safety trends and prepare reports to drive continuous improvement.
What You Bring
- 2–3 years of transportation or safety-related experience.
- Knowledge of Canadian federal and provincial safety regulations.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Creative problem-solving skills for safety challenges.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- A valid driver’s licence and access to a personal vehicle for local travel.
Annual salary of 69 000 - 71 000$
