Local Sort Team Leader – UPS

Amsterdam

As a Local Sort Team Leader at UPS in Amsterdam, you’ll lead a team of 30 dedicated employees, ensuring that every package is sorted correctly and efficiently. Working in rotating shifts (13:00 – 22:00 and 15:00 – 24:00) alongside another Team Leader, you’ll oversee the sorting process from 16:30 to 20:30, maintaining high standards of productivity, quality, and safety. We’re looking for a disciplined leader with strong organizational skills, logistics experience, and a winning mentality.

What You’ll Do

You’ll lead and motivate a diverse team, ensuring efficient and accurate sorting while upholding safety standards. By evaluating performance, providing feedback, and supporting employee growth, you’ll help build a strong and productive team. You’ll proactively identify and implement process improvements, manage absenteeism, and ensure proper guidance for team members when needed. Additionally, you’ll enforce company rules and procedures, set a strong example for your team, and keep operations running smoothly.
