We are searching for the best talent for the Local Scientific Affairs Senior Scientist to be in Panama or Costa Rica
Purpose: The Local Scientific Affairs Senior Scientist plays a critical role in advancing scientific excellence across the organization by leading local evidence generation, scientific engagement, and Medical Affairs operational excellence. This position serves as a strategic bridge between local Medical Affairs and regional Scientific Affairs teams, translating therapeutic area priorities, field insights, and evidence gaps into impactful Real-World Evidence (RWE), Independent Publications, and evidence generation initiatives.
Your main responsabilities will be:
Drive the end-to-end evidence generation process, overseeing scientific engagement plans, fostering a culture of actionable insights, supporting field medical effectiveness, ensuring compliance and governance, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across Medical Affairs.
Partner closely with Therapeutic Area teams, MSL leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver patient-centered scientific strategies and strengthen local capabilities.
Translate complex scientific and operational data into actionable recommendations for local and regional stakeholders.
Qualifications
University degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Medicine, Pharmacy, or a related scientific field.
Experience in Medical Affairs (previous roles as Sr MSL), Scientific Affairs, clinical research, evidence generation, RWE, publications, or scientific project management
Strong understanding of evidence generation, scientific engagement, and healthcare ecosystems.
Proven ability to collaborate across matrix organizations and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
Excellent communication, strategic thinking, project management, and continuous improvement skills.
Proficiency in English.
