Responsibilities

  • Client Guidance: Provide a thorough understanding of loan programs, closing costs, and processes to help prospective buyers make informed decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with real estate professionals, builders, and community members to gather all necessary documentation and meet underwriting requirements.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an active, rolling pipeline of loans and ensure all company and regulatory processes are adhered to.
  • Business Development: Build and maintain relationships with bankers, realtors, and referral partners through networking and prospecting to attract new business.

Qualifications

  • NMLS License: Must have an active NMLS Mortgage Originator License.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in real estate, mortgage origination, or lending.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with loan origination software (such as Encompass, LendingWise, or Calyx) and Office Suite is highly preferred.
  • Self-Starter: Experience with self-generated leads and an established network of referral partners.
  • Compliance: Knowledge of lending regulations and underwriting guidelines.
