This position is full time. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm MST with flexibility to adjust hours based on business needs. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
We offer weeks of paid training. The hours of the training will be during normal business hours.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Accurately manage and process all loan-related transactions, including funding, payment processing, draws, and disbursements. Ensure the precise handling of complex transactions, such as stub interest, origination fees, and principal balances, within our Loan Accounting System (LAS)
- Receive and review funding documentation from the Closing team via AdobeSign, ensuring all necessary documentation (Credit Approval Summary, Closing Statement, Wire Request/Instructions) are complete and accurate
- Collaborate closely with the Closing team to reconcile all payments and disbursements regarding the closing of loans housed within the Loan Accounting System (LAS)
- Validate the amounts to be distributed from loan proceeds, particularly when the commitment amount exceeds the original distribution. Ensure that initial transactions align with the expected loan balance and identify any additional available funds for future use
- Ensure the accurate reconciliation of Demand Deposit Accounts (DDAs) associated with our partners
- Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and accountability of all transactions. It is crucial that a high level of diligence and attention to detail are maintained, as each transaction directly impacts the financial integrity of our operations
- Adhere to all internal procedures/policies and external regulations, maintaining accurate and detailed records for audit and compliance purposes
- Assist senior team members with various accounting tasks and collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth loan processing
- Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in loan accounting. See it, Own it, Solve it, Do it. (SOSD)

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- 3+ years of experience in loan or general accounting
- 1+ years of experience in creating and documenting processes and procedures, with a focus on developing clear and effective methodologies and practices
- Experience in payment processing including leasing, syndications, mortgages, or other related financial products/services
- Experience with Microsoft Word (create correspondence and work within templates), Microsoft Excel (data entry, sort / filter, and work within tables) and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management)
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time domestically for onsite meetings and other business-related needs
- Ability to work full time. Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SQL or Power BI
- Familiarity with loan management systems (LAS)
- Familiarity with commercial and consumer loan operations
- Basic knowledge of the necessary documentation and procedures to secure and perfect the bank's collateral
- Basic understanding of commercial and consumer lending regulatory and compliance components
- Reside within the state of Utah
Telecommuting Requirements:
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $29.00 to $52.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
