We are seeking a skilled and experienced Loader Operator to join our team at the Vance Plant. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy machinery and be able to handle physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions. This role is critical in supporting the day-to-day operations of the plant, ensuring that materials are loaded and unloaded efficiently and safely.

Essential Functions:

  • Safely operate a front-end loader to transport raw materials and other items within the facility.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and railcars as required.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure operational safety and report any mechanical issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring materials are properly stored and accounted for.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and regulations, ensuring compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.
  • Assist with inventory management and tracking of materials.
  • Communicate with supervisors, truck drivers, and other team members to coordinate material handling.

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Required Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy machinery, preferably a front-end loader.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
