POSITION SUMMARY:
The Layout Table Hand supports layout and cutting operations by loading, unloading, and handling raw materials and finished parts at CNC plasma and laser cutting tables. This role ensures materials are properly positioned, work areas remain organized, and cutting operations can proceed safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may.")

Load and unload raw materials and finished parts on CNC plasma and laser cutting tables.

Safely handle and move metal sheets and cut components using appropriate material‑handling equipment.

Assist CNC operators to keep machines clear, clean, and ready for continuous operation.

Perform basic visual inspections of materials and finished parts for defects or damage.

Maintain a clean, organized work area, including proper scrap disposal and material storage.

Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements while working around cutting equipment and machinery.

Work efficiently to support production schedules and workflow.

Report to work on time with consistent attendance.

Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s) and pre-employment Pulmonary Function Test (PFT).

In person, predictable attendance in Ponca City, OK.

Overtime required based on business needs.

Proficiency in spoken English language.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL

Employees are frequently required to walk, sit, climb, reach, bend, crawl, lift, balance, stoop, handle materials, and squat or kneel. Employees must regularly lift and move up to forty‑nine (49) pounds independently and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with a team lift. This role requires working both indoors and outdoors, often during inclement weather, while performing labor‑intensive duties. The work environment includes exposure to hazardous materials and operating conditions. Due to these conditions, employees are required to wear company‑mandated personal protective equipment (PPE) and must strictly adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Work hours may include early morning, late afternoon/evening hours, and weekends in combination depending on job demands.
