POSITION SUMMARY
The Buyer position will report to the Procurement Lead. Responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing and awarding purchase orders.
- Will maintain CPSR audit ready Procurement files. Your Procurement tasks will be assigned to you by the Procurement Lead, and he/she will set your priorities.
- Adhere to the Amentum Policies and Procedures and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
- Administrative duties as required.
- Maybe tased to work proposals, and additional duties and projects as assigned.
- A minimum of (1) one year Procurement experience preferred.
- 1 year experience working on a U.S. Government contract is preferred.
- Current experience working in MAXIMO or Cost Point is preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
- Excellent organizational, attention to details and time management skills
- Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of employment is required.
- Experience providing excellent customer service in supporting contract responsibilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules and under pressure of deadlines while maintaining performance standards.
