FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.

We're on the lookout for a talented Livestream Journalist/Producer to join our team and help us captivate audiences with compelling content. In this role, you will not only produce for the FOX 10 team, you will also step in front of the camera to deliver live, unscripted, and informative programming, as well as breaking news and episodic/on-demand content.

What you’ll do:

• Host Engaging Shows: Host live streams on a variety of topics, from breaking news to pop culture.

• Produce High-Quality Content: Produce your own content and content for other hosts and contributors, including explainer videos, longform podcast-style interviews, and live reports.

• Connect with the Audience: Build a strong connection with our audience and your own unique audience through engaging conversations and social media interactions.

• Stay Ahead of Trends: Stay informed on current events to identify potential content opportunities.

• Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with producers and editors to create high-quality content.

What you’ll need: 

• A strong on-camera presence and excellent communication skills.

• The ability to produce live, unscripted streams, breaking news and episodic content.

• Streaming technology and broadcast switching experience as a plus, but interest in learning to use tools in new and different ways is a must.

• A passion for storytelling and the ability to connect with diverse audiences.

• A strong understanding of social media platforms and digital trends.

• Experience in video production and editing.

• A high level of energy and enthusiasm.

• The drive to thrive and self-direct in an independent work environment.

• Weekends, holidays and varied hours required.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $65,000.00-75,000.00 annually for high cost labour markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $54,100.00-62,500.00 annually for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
