ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Accurately input information regarding cases into electronic calendaring system.
  • Integrity maintenance of the firm’s master calendar.
  • Working knowledge of updates and changes to court rules and procedures.
  • Calculation, entering, and formatting case events and deadlines.
  • Advising attorneys of all upcoming dates relating to the Firm’s cases.
  • Plan and organize work load to comply with established time constraints.
  • Ability to conduct research for strategic calendaring.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • With at least five years of experience using a calendaring software, preferably Compulaw. This position requires the analyst to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with federal, state and local court rules.  
  • Knowledge of USDC, state court, and alternative dispute resolution agencies’ practices relating to pleadings and other actions of our clients’ cases.
  • Thoroughness and accuracy in calculating deadlines via application of the court’s rules or instruction from attorneys. 

Skills Required

  • At least five years of experience using calendaring software, preferably CompuLaw
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local court rules
  • Knowledge of USDC, state court, and alternative dispute resolution agencies’ practices relating to pleadings and other case actions
  • Thoroughness and accuracy in calculating deadlines using court rules or attorney instructions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor’s degree
