We are seeking an experienced Litigation Assistant with a minimum of 2 years in a legal environment to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of litigation processes, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to supporting our attorneys in achieving favorable outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing case files, drafting pleadings, and preparing discovery documents.
  • Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management systems, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and court personnel regarding case updates and scheduling.
  • File documents with courts and maintain compliance with all local and federal regulations.
  • Prepare and organize trial exhibits and materials.
  • Assist in gathering, reviewing, and summarizing evidence and documents.
  • Provide general administrative support, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and maintaining files.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation assistant or in a similar legal role.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and litigation processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain professionalism under pressure.

Schedule:

  • Full-time, 8-hour shifts
