We are looking for a Liquidity Platform Product Specialist to support LiquidityDirect, our industry-leading short-end investments platform. This role will be based in London. The ideal candidate will bring strong corporate liquidity management expertise, experience with liquidity services products and platform integrations, and a demonstrated ability to work with AI-enabled platform capabilities, data-led decisioning, and intelligent workflow solutions.

We are seeking a highly analytical, commercially aware, and digitally curious Product Specialist to join our Markets Division, supporting the continued evolution of our open architecture platform for the distribution of money market funds. This role is pivotal in bridging business needs with technology solutions, helping deliver a next-generation liquidity platform that uses data, automation, and AI-driven insights to improve client experience, platform efficiency, and product scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

  • Knowledge of treasury and liquidity platforms such as Kyriba, GTreasury, SAP, FIS, TMS, FundConnect, CacheMatrix, Morgan Money, GS Mosaic, or ICD

  • Using Agile, translate complex business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories for platform enhancements.

  • Identify opportunities to embed AI-driven capabilities, intelligent automation, and advanced analytics into platform workflows and user journeys.

 

Platform Development Support

  • Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering teams, and platform stakeholders to support agile delivery of new features and enhancements.

  • Contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and user story creation.

  • Support initiatives that improve platform intelligence, including workflow automation, predictive analytics, recommendation capabilities, and data-driven product enhancements.

 

Client, Data & Market Insight

  • Analyze client usage patterns, behavioural data, market trends, and competitor platforms to inform product strategy and prioritization.

  • Support the integration of third-party fund providers, data feeds, and platform services into the broader liquidity ecosystem.

  • Help define business requirements for AI-enabled features that enhance client servicing, product discovery, reporting, and operational efficiency.

 

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Define and execute test cases to validate platform functionality, data integrity, and end-user experience.

  • Coordinate UAT with business users and manage feedback loops to support high-quality releases.

  • Partner with technology teams to ensure AI-related or data-driven functionality is tested for accuracy, usability, and business relevance.

 

Documentation & Training

  • Produce user guides, process flows, business documentation, and training materials for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Conduct training sessions and demos for Sales, Product, and Client Services teams.

  • Support adoption of new digital and AI-enabled platform capabilities through clear communication and stakeholder engagement.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Product Specialist in financial services, ideally within Markets, Liquidity, Treasury, or Asset Management.

  • Strong understanding of money market instruments, fund distribution, and corporate liquidity management.

  • Experience working on liquidity platforms, treasury technology platforms, or digital investment/distribution platforms.

  • Exposure to AI-enabled products, intelligent automation, advanced analytics, or machine learning use cases within a platform, product, or transformation environment.

  • Hands-on experience framing AI use cases (classification, recommendation, NLP/LLM interfaces) and working with data science/engineering teams to deliver features end-to-end.
  • Understanding of institutional digital assets/tokenization concepts (e.g., distributed ledger basics, smart contract primitives), including regulatory and operational considerations.
  • Familiarity with open architecture platforms, APIs, data integration, and workflow digitisation.

  • Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Excel, and data visualisation platforms.

 

Preferred Experience

We would be particularly interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following:

  • Working on AI-enhanced liquidity, treasury, or investment platforms

  • Supporting digital transformation or platform modernisation initiatives in liquidity or cash management

  • Defining requirements for predictive insights, intelligent recommendations, automation, or client analytics

  • Knowledge of treasury and liquidity technology providers such as Kyriba, GTreasury, SAP, FIS, TMS, FundConnect, CacheMatrix, Morgan Money, GS Mosaic, or ICD
