We are looking for a Liquid Operations Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and optimizing all liquid cargo operations, storage facilities, and related terminal processes. You will play an active role in ensuring operational excellence, maintaining strict safety and environmental standards, managing team performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in line with DP World standards and global policies
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead, direct, and oversee day-to-day liquid cargo handling, transfer, and storage operations safely and efficiently.
- Ensure full compliance with national and international maritime regulations, safety standards (ISGOTT, etc.), and environmental legislation.
- Manage, coach, and develop the liquid operations team, ensuring proper shift planning and resource allocation.
- Optimize terminal capacity, vessel turnaround times, and pipeline/tank utilization to maximize operational efficiency.
- Monitor operational KPIs (loading/unloading rates, product loss, turnaround times) and drive corrective actions when necessary.
- Conduct regular field inspections to ensure operational safety, equipment integrity, and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinate closely with maintenance, HSE, and marine services to ensure seamless port and terminal operations.
- Oversee product quality control, inventory management, and accurate reporting of liquid cargo movements.
- Lead incident investigations related to operational delays, spills, or safety near-misses, and implement preventive measures.
- Manage operational budgeting, cost control, and procurement requests for liquid operations through SAP.
- Foster a strong safety culture within the team, ensuring active participation in health, safety, and environmental training.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Maritime Studies, or a related technical field.
- 5–8 years of experience in liquid bulk terminal operations, oil/gas logistics, or chemical storage facilities, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English (to communicate effectively within our global network).
- Strong knowledge of liquid cargo handling equipment, pipeline systems, tank farms, and international safety regulations (e.g., ISGOTT, OSHA).
- Proven leadership and team management skills with a solution-focused and decisive mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and terminal management systems (SAP experience is a plus).
- Strong communication, coordination, and crisis management skills.
- Class B driving license and flexibility for operational requirements.
