Opportunity:
We are looking for a Senior Linux Engineer with strong experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, CI/CD, Automation, and Linux System Administration. You will work across Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and on-prem infrastructure, helping to build reliable, scalable, and secure environments.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys designing solutions, improving observability, developing automation, and contributing to a modern, container-based architecture (Docker, Kubernetes).
You’ll join a collaborative and supportive engineering culture where sharing knowledge, problem-solving, and continuous improvement are part of our daily work.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux-based infrastructure (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL or similar)
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
- Automate infrastructure using Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or similar tools
- Work with containers and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
- Monitor systems using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar observability stacks and troubleshoot issues
- Collaborate with software engineers to optimise deployments and runtimes
- Participate in agile ceremonies, task estimation, and daily stand-ups
Key skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related
- 5+ years in Linux Administration / DevOps / Site Reliability / Cloud Engineering
- Strong knowledge of Linux internals, networking, and security best practices
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or private cloud
- Scripting expertise: Bash, Python, or similar
- Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Experience with Docker, writing Dockerfiles, and containerisation best practices
- Practical experience with Terraform (or similar IaC tools)
- Strong version control skills (Git, Git workflows)
- Advantage: experience with microservices, distributed systems, or certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, CKA, CKAD)
- Excellent written and spoken English
