POSITION SUMMARY
We’re looking for an experienced Linux Administrator to join our Engineering team at Broadvoice. You’ll be part of a mission-critical function responsible for monitoring, responding to alerts, and executing operational tasks that keep our global infrastructure running smoothly.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor infrastructure across 5 colocation datacenters, 4 client-premises sites, and 5 AWS regions.
- Respond to alarms and internal tickets, escalating as needed.
- Execute operational tasks using predefined playbooks and procedures.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and SRE teams to ensure system stability and performance.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend coverage.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a NOC environment.
- Strong Linux system administration skills.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls).
- Experience with monitoring tools and incident response workflows.
- Ability to follow structured operational procedures and escalate appropriately.
- Experience with SIP and VoIP technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
- Exposure to automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).
