We are seeking a talented and dedicated linguist to join our team in support of the Texas Department of Public Safety - Criminal Investigations Division (CID). The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and be proficient in Spanish or another language, in addition to having excellent command of the English language.
Essential Job Duties
- Conduct linguistic analysis and research on assigned projects.
- Translate and interpret documents, conversations, and audio recordings from the target language(s) to English and vice versa.
- Provide linguistic expertise and support across various departments.
- Collaborate with other linguists and professionals to ensure accuracy and consistency in language use.
- Participate in language assessment tests and evaluations.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
