LocalEyes is looking for a Linguist with Danish to join its growing community of freelancers.
We are looking for a highly skilled linguist to help further develop and expand the native locale lexicon for mobile devices.
The ideal candidate has experience and passion for working with language data and has the ability to help create, categorize, audit, and improve lexical data. Excellent grammar is essential. The person must be highly organized, collaborate well with others, and be able to drive issues to resolution. Excellent communication skills are key as the linguist will need to communicate directly with corporate stakeholders.

Skills Required
- Degree in Linguistics and/or equivalent experience
- Native fluency and proficiency in Danish
- Excellent grammar and knowledge of syntax, semantics, phonology, phonetics
- Previous experience working with language data (research, analysis, translation, review, dictionary)
- Up-to-date exposure to native culture to inform data analysis
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities
- Highly organized and able to collaborate across teams and drive issues to resolution
- Computational linguistics experience
