Responsible for supervising the daily work activities of assigned Linen personnel, ensure established linen requirements are met for all customers, and manage the linen inventory by the use of an integrated linen management tracking system.
Position Requirements- High School diploma required.

- Possess good verbal and written communication skills and must have the ability to maintain good customer relationships.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- At least two years of Linen Department experience in a commercial or health care setting preferred.
- Must be able to operate washer and dryer.
- Requires some office work including use of computer and other office equipment.
- Job will require being in all areas that use linen.
- Daily work environment and home base is the linen storage area.
- Frequent lifting and / or carrying of objects weighing up to 40 lbs. and moving carts of linen that could weigh up to 500 lbs.
- Requires walking, standing, pushing, and pulling.
- Manual dexterity; ability to move the hand easily and skillfully.
- Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing.
- Hearing and vision are required to be normal or correctable to normal.
- Properly uses all safety measures, devices, and systems provided. Corrects or reports any safety hazards identified. Fills out event notification when appropriate to help prevent future accidents.

- Completes all HealthStream education assignments by the due date.

- Assist the Director with cost center 8330 budget within guidelines: 5 = Cost center is 3% below budget; 4 = Cost center is 2% below budget; 3 = Cost center is on budget; 2 = Cost center is 2% over budget; 1 = Cost center is more than 3% over budget.
- Responsible for monitoring the condition of all laundry equipment to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper working condition: 5 = Quarterly Linen room inspection report score 100; 4 = Quarterly Linen room inspection report score 99 to 95; 3 = Quarterly Linen room inspection report score 95 to 90; 2 = Quarterly Linen room inspection report score 90 to 85; 1 = Quarterly Linen room inspection report score 85 to 80.
- Responsible for completing linen distribution reports as required: 5 = All reports completed 3 days before requested date; 4 = All reports completed 2 days before requested date; 3 = All reports completed on requested date; 2 = All reports completed 1 day after requested date; 1 = All reports completed more than 1 day after requested date.
- Maintain customer satisfaction with all linen users in the hospital: 5 = Annual linen survey score 100% or more; 4 = Annual linen survey score 99 to 95%; 3 = Annual linen survey score 95 to 90%; 2 = Annual linen survey score 90 to 85%; 1 = Annual linen survey score 85 to 80%.
- Linen exchange carts / floor orders are properly filled and delivered as required annually as reported by customers: 5 = All carts are filled and delivered with no complaints; 4 = All carts are filled and delivered with 3 or less complaints; 3 = All carts are filled and delivered with 4 or less complaints; 2 = All carts are filled and delivered with 5 complaints; 1 = All carts are filled and delivered with more than 5 complaints.
