Position Overview
The Line Manager ensures that all assigned processes have standard work procedures that guarantee:
- Manage the production process
- The quality of products
- High efficiency of processes
- Productive capacity that meets delivery schedules
- Guarantee Security and 5S Methodology, Lean Manufacturing
Location: Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico

What you'll do
- Supervise, guide, and lead production workers, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines, quality standards, and productivity objectives.
- Motivate and empower the team to achieve peak performance and meet production targets.
- Collaborate with the production planning team to create schedules that meet customer demand while optimizing resources and minimizing downtime.
- Monitor production processes and outcomes to maintain consistent product quality; implement corrective actions when deviations occur.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements; lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and enhance productivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies; conduct regular safety inspections and promote a strong safety culture.
- Maintain accurate production records, performance reports, and documentation; provide regular updates to management on progress and challenges.
- Oversee equipment maintenance programs and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
- Provide training and support to production workers, enabling skill development and performance improvement.
- Remember: each Associate is responsible for their own safety. Report or address unsafe acts or conditions immediately to prevent incidents, property damage, or accidents.

Who you are
- Several years of experience in production roles, with demonstrated leadership experience.
- English proficiency: 75%
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- SAP system knowledge.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and standards.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and quality control measures.
- Deep knowledge of safety standards and best practices within the manufacturing industry.
- High attention to detail
- Willingness to travel (10%)
- Minimum education: completed degree.
- At least 5 years of experience in similar positions.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Ability to analyze production problems and develop effective solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Competence in managing multiple tasks and priorities, ensuring production schedules are met within deadlines.
- Proactive approach to identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing changes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
