The Role
Supervise and pace up to three pharmaceutical packaging lines per shift, ensuring efficient, high-quality runs. Perform in-process checks, enforce cGMP/GCP and SOPs, coordinate with Maintenance, QA and Warehouse, train packagers, monitor output, escalate issues, and maintain safety and housekeeping. Night shift with possible overtime.

1. Responsible for the operation and pace of Line partnering with QA, Maintenance Mechanic and Packagers.

2. Ensures production runs are executed efficiently, with high quality and minimal waste.

3. Ensure that production Challenges are completed with precision and accuracy. 4. Performs in-process checks and inspections within specified time frames.

5. Reads and understands packaging procedures prior to each job.

6. Provides direction to Packagers.

7. Adheres to standard SOP's and job specific packaging procedures.

8. Monitors production output on an hourly basis and takes appropriation corrective actions if routings are behind schedule.

9. Escalates production issues to Shift Lead/Production Manger as appropriate. 10. Immediately informs Shift Lead/Production Manager of any downtime, which will cause a delay on the agreed target timelines.

11. Responsible for overseeing the operation and running of up to 3 lines during a shift.

12. Identifies issues or concerns with products or machinery during packaging runs and immediately informs the Shift Lead/Production Manager.

13. Partners with the Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot mechanical problems and repairs

14. Coordinates with the Warehouse and Quality Assurance to ensure issuance and reconciliation are correct for packaging runs and completed in a timely manner.

15. Reviews completed PBR’s each shift for document accuracy.

16. Assists in the orientation and training of new Packagers on duties to be performed.

17. Ensures that the cleanliness of packaging areas is maintained through good housekeeping practices.

18. Responsible for adhering to and enforcing safety practices

19. Other duties as assigned

20. This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.

21. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.

22. Attendance to work is an essential function of this position

23. Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

Shift Timings

Monday thru Thursday - 11:30pm - 7:15am

Sunday Nights - 10:15pm - 7:15am
