Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Line Balancing Expert (f/m) to join our transnational team based in Toulouse, France.
You will be part of a team developing Process, Method, Data and Tool for current and future programmes. As part of the central Manufacturing Engineering Ene-to-end Line Balancing team, you will be involved in the AIRBUS transformation aiming at continuous performance improvements through digitalisation& artificial intelligence for the AIRBUS Operations value stream.

Your challenges:
Develop and implement new process, methods & operation system routines to manage production allocated time and design production line balancing. (from product Industrialization phase to shopfloor execution)
Continuously improve Airbus Plants/Final Assembly Line production efficiency through data analysis and flow optimization (CVAT, waste eradication)
Identify and share best practices /benchmark through Plant and Final Assembly lines.
Leading Shop Floor transformation initiatives & Digital initiatives (e.g Line Balancing, MES, Tandem…) as part of Digitalisation for Operations (IEVS) journey.
Lead/contribute to definition, development and continuous improvement of Production System Efficiency standards along process, methods and tools dimensions (Line Balancing, Production Pace Control, Andon, Outstanding Work management...)
Lead business continuity / continuous improvement projects as part of the ME Process-Methods-Tools Roadmap
Perform Benchmarking activities; using of existing resources with benefit for Airbus (Internal & external benchmark)
Your boarding pass:
Master degree in Aeronautics, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering
a minimum of 5 years Technical expertise in Production Line creation or operation
Knowledge and practical experience in
Product Lifecycle Management (Process & Data, System-Interfaces PLM-ERP-MES, Configuration Management and interdisciplinary thinking)
Lean (Analytical problem solving - 5 Why, Ishikawa, Value stream thinking - Muda, Muri, Mura, Change Management and Moderation)
Simulation (Modelling/Simplification, Constraints/Dependencies, Verification of result)

Skills Required
- Master degree in Aeronautics, Production Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years technical expertise in production line creation or operation
- Practical experience with Product Lifecycle Management including PLM-ERP-MES system interfaces and configuration management

- Simulation skills (modelling/simplification, handling constraints/dependencies, verification of results)
