Key Responsibilities
 

  • Maintaining and developing LIMS projects, including master data creation, modification, and updates.
  • Implementing new modules within the organisation, eg raw materials and batches.
  • Improve operational performance using workflows in LIMS and bridging LIMS to other lab management systems and equipment.
  • The LIMS specialist act as a SME and as such are encouraged to help with trouble shooting of the live system as and when issues arise.
  • Perform routine software and system administration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality procedures.
  • Assist in technical writing tasks such as protocol reports and CoA.
  • Validate and maintain excel spreadsheets used for data analysis and reporting.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the QC department.
  • Conduct trending analysis to identify patterns, deviations, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Work on deviations and CAPAs affecting the QC organization, conducting detailed investigations and implementing effective corrective actions.

Key requirements:
 

  • Master or Bachelor’s degree (or gained experience) in a relevant scientific field (e.g., chemistry, biology, or related subject area).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a QC or related role within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or similar industry. (cGMP)
  • Proficiency in LIMS software
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collaborate optimally with cross-functional teams.
  • Diligent with a dedication to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Experience in Excel, Smartsheet’s and technical writing is helpful.
