Contract Role: Senior Bilingual LIMS Consultant (Vietnamese-English)

About the Role
Snic Solutions is seeking a senior bilingual LIMS Consultant fluent in Vietnamese and English with proven, real-world experience delivering LIMS deployments in industrial lab environments. This is a contract role supporting the full rollout of Siemens Opcenter RD&L at a leading national petroleum enterprise with a network of 17 laboratories across Vietnam.
We’re looking for someone who has already been through the LIMS deployment cycle — from blueprinting and testing through user adoption and go-live. You’ll plug into an ongoing implementation and immediately take ownership of lab engagement, validation coordination, and outcome delivery.
Project Objectives
- Automate and digitize lab workflows to scale testing throughput
- Integrate lab equipment with Opcenter RD&L
- Connect lab operations with SAP to reduce errors and streamline reporting
- Drive measurable improvements in regulatory compliance and testing efficiency
Key Responsibilities
- Absorb project artifacts quickly (functional specs, lab workflows, integration designs) and become immediately productive.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in equipment integration, SAP connections, or user adoption.
- Lead validation efforts and user acceptance testing (UAT) at 17 labs — ensuring the system reflects real-world workflows and user needs.
- Drive the hands-on involvement of lab users to test, validate, and approve the LIMS system.
- Provide targeted coaching and training during validation and early go-live phases, based on what’s worked in your prior deployments.
- Maintain strong communication with both lab personnel and executive stakeholders — tracking progress, risks, and user readiness.
- Coordinate effectively with Snic Solutions, integration partners, and local stakeholders to keep deployment on track.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5+ years of end-to-end LIMS deployment experience — preferably with Siemens Opcenter RD&L, but also open to strong experience with LabWare, Starlims, or equivalent platforms.
- Direct, hands-on involvement in rolling out LIMS systems across multiple labs or distributed enterprise environments.
- Background in laboratory operations — ideally in petroleum, chemical, or industrial testing environments.
- Fluent in Vietnamese and English, with strong communication skills across technical and leadership audiences.
- Practical understanding of equipment integration and SAP interface points.
- Ability to take ownership of testing coordination, user validation, and go-live readiness with little to no ramp-up time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Experience working in regulated industries or digital transformation initiatives within lab environments.
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 compliance and quality assurance in lab systems.
