Perform detailed site surveys to assess lifting requirements, ground conditions, and equipment suitability.
Develop lifting plans and studies in compliance with QE standards, including risk assessments and method statements.
Ensure cranes, lifting gear, and rigging equipment are certified, tested, and fit for purpose.
Enforce HSE standards during lifting operations, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure adherence to lifting procedures.
Liaise with project managers, supervisors, and rigging teams to execute lifting operations safely.
Prepare lifting plans, risk assessments, inspection reports, and compliance records for client approval.
Provide technical guidance to riggers and operators on safe lifting practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Civil Engineering (preferred).
Certified Lifting Engineer with valid QE approval.
Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in lifting engineering, including oil and gas projects.
Lifting Engineer Certification (QE approved).
OPITO / LOLER / IMCA lifting operations certification.
