Laural Parke is recruiting for a hospitality focused Lifestyles Coordinator to join our team!
Starting Pay: 15/hr
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Lifestyles Coordinator:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of a balanced program of spiritual, emotional, intellectual, vocational, social, physical and environmental activities with the intent of including all residents in some area of lifestyle activity.
- Promote a healthy community culture for all residents and employees. This is a whole-person approach to health and wellness which includes eight dimensions of wellness: Emotional, Environmental, Health Services, Intellectual, Physical, Social, Spiritual and Vocational. Ensure and exceed residents’ wellness needs relating to their mind, body and soul, which may also have a positive effect on the employees, as a result.
- Provide individual and group educational opportunities for residents and staff in the area of disease prevention and management in the holistic spirit of the Lifestyle and Health Services Wellness Program.
- Assist in tracking of activity participation for all Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care residents.
- Lead daily resident activities per our Community standards.
- Assist in gathering each resident’s interests through the Social Spiritual History Assessment for planning person-centered approach activities.
- Assist with preparing and distributing monthly calendars according to the Community standards.
- Assist with gathering information, articles, and photos for newsletter
- Assist with preparation and distribution of weekly program contents
- May be responsible for transporting residents to appointments, as well as regular and special recreational outings.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate’s degree preferred
- Six (6) months experience working with seniors in activities/life enrichment preferred
