Lifestyle Specialist
We’re currently looking for full time Lifestyle Specialists to join our prestigious Home and Furniture department on the third floor of Harrods. The Lifestyle Specialist is a retail-focused role that will serve as the first point of contact for any client or Interior Designer on the shopfloor who wishes to understand what the Home and Furniture division can offer.
About the Role
The Lifestyle Specialist will be skilled in providing a one-on-one experience, inspiring, educating and listening to the client requirements to provide a service that exceeds their expectations during their first visit to the floor. They will encourage clients to purchase into our lifestyle offering through highlighting trends and product information, as well as utilising mood boards and colour charts to inspire clients to purchase across the entire third floor retail landscape.
Organising and hosting client appointments on the shopfloor, our Lifestyle Specialists will offer engaging introductions to our brands and their unique offerings after truly understanding the clients’ needs and preferences by asking intuitive questions. Following a comprehensive consultation, our Lifestyle Specialists provide a clear handover to one of our Furniture Specialists, Concession Brands or introduce Harrods’ other relevant services, including Furniture Planning, to aid the client’s onward shopping journey.
About You
You will be a creative individual with a passion for customer service and the ability to build really strong relationships with both clients and Harrods’ internal teams. You will have a true passion for design, potentially with a qualification in this field (although not necessary).
You will also:
- Be a confident and articulate communicator, capable of clearly conveying information whilst also building rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Be collaborative in your nature, able to thrive as part of the wider Home and Furniture division.
- Be resilient and adaptable to your audience and environment, believing that anything is possible.
- Have great organisational skills, able to manage your own time and workload both effectively and efficiently.
