Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital Medical Center is hiring a Lifeguard - Flex, Rotating Schedule
Sentara RMH Medical Center, a Magnet designated hospital located in Harrisonburg VA, serves a seven-county area with a population of 218,000 residents. The 238-bed community hospital partnered with the Sentara Healthcare system in May of 2011. Job Summary
Primary responsibilities include ensuring patrons safety and protecting lives. Other duties include chemical checking, attendance at monthly in-services, cleaning tasks as assigned by the Aquatics Coordinator and other duties assigned by the Aquatics Coordinator.
Lifeguarding experience preferred but not required. Current Certification is required in life saving and water safety, AED/CPR from a State or Nationally recognized certifying agency. For example American Red Cross, Ellis and Associates, American Aquatics and Safety Training, Star guard, etc. Minimum age of 16 required.
Qualifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor - Certification - American Aquatics and Safety Training (AAST)
