SUMMARY
The Lifecycle Marketing Associate will be responsible for asset development, audience management, QA, email execution, and reporting. This role requires a technical individual with the ability to develop and manage multiple email projects across product lines including banking, lending, and credit card.
The Lifecycle Marketing Associate is a key member of the Growth Marketing team working cross functionally with Creative, Copy, Legal, Business Operations, and Product teams.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Partner with Marketing and cross functional teams on email content and deployment calendars.
- Work closely with Copy and Creative teams to develop email assets for specific audiences and for key points in the customer lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Business Operations on audience selection and segmentation.
- Manage approval process across teams including Marketing, business stakeholders, and legal.
- QA email assets for copy, creative, and platform rendering. Working closely with email coders on updates and fixes when needed.
- Work hands-on in the email platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, managing content plus scheduling and deploying emails.
- Document email programs - detailing audience, segmentation and performance.
- Update email content using HTML in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Provide post campaign reporting - drawing conclusions and recommendations on performance and customer behavior.
- Create efficiencies across the email program to increase productivity.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
Required Experience
- 3+ years of email experience; fintech experience is a plus.
- Proficiency using Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar email service provider.
- Intermediate knowledge of HTML.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, data matching, and manipulation).
- Technical savvy and ability to adapt quickly to various database tools; SQL experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail which is required for QAing messages and audience selections.
- Proficiency in Powerpoint or Google Slides in order to create presentations and memorialize campaign assets and results.
- Proactive and forward thinking; raises questions on assignments, contributes to the optimization of campaigns, and shares ideas.
- Experience with email personalization tools such as Movable Ink a plus.
