About Jimdo

Join us to help unleash the power of the self-employed and help them thrive!

Jimdo was founded by three school friends in 2007 in a farmhouse in Northern Germany. Fast forward to today, we’re a growing, profitable business with a team of 250+ people from 50 nationalities based in over 15 countries. Our portfolio serves the unique needs of microbusinesses. In addition to our GDPR-compliant website builder powered by AI, we offer an online store, legal text generator, business listings, social media integration, SEO, and more. We’re constantly developing new products and services that make the lives of microbusiness owners easier and help fuel their businesses. If you’re inspired by our mission and like the idea of working for a dynamic remote-first company where you can create impact from day 1, we’d love to meet you!

Role Overview:

As our Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you’ll take the lead in designing and optimizing the full customer journey across onboarding, activation, retention, and revenue. You’ll work at the intersection of product, data, and marketing — mapping key touchpoints, building scalable AI-powered journeys, and ensuring every communication delivers real value.

Your impact:
  • Own and evolve the lifecycle strategy to drive activation, retention, and revenue

  • Act as the strategic hub for all customer communications (email, in-product, notifications)

  • Take ownership of our HubSpot setup, workflows, and governance

  • Map customer journeys and identify value-driving interventions

  • Lead cross-functional alignment with product, engineering, design, and analytics

  • Integrate AI and automation into campaigns for personalization and efficiency

  • Design and execute experiments to optimize lifecycle performance

What you bring:
  • 4+ years in Lifecycle, CRM, or Product Marketing/Management

  • Proven success in improving Pirate Metrics (activation, retention, revenue)

  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot or similar tools (e.g., Braze, Salesforce)

  • Familiarity with SaaS and product-led growth models

  • Experience using AI/ML for personalization, recommendations, or churn prediction

  • Strong skills in journey mapping, CRO, experimentation, and KPI frameworks

  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally
