About the Team:


Quizlet’s Lifecycle Marketing team is passionate about crafting and executing impactful and effective programs to engage and delight our users. Our goal is to take an innovative, creative and analytical approach to building strong relationships with our audiences while delivering business value through our Lifecycle marketing channels. We are a team that values consumer empathy, constant testing and iteration, and cross-functional collaboration.


About the Role:


We are seeking an experienced Lifecycle Marketing Manager to lead and execute Quizlet’s lifecycle marketing efforts. In this role, you will drive user engagement, retention, and loyalty through personalized, data-driven campaigns across the user journey. You’ll work cross-functionally with product, design, and data teams to build automated email, push, and in-app messaging programs that enhance user experience and support our business goals.


This is a hybrid role based out of our San Francisco office hub.

In this role, you will:

  • Work on strategy development for various segments of users with a focus on driving user retention, engagement, and reactivation
  • Leverage user behavior data and segmentation strategies to create personalized, relevant experiences at key stages of the user journey
  • Continuously optimize programs to meet KPIs and implement incremental improvements to new and existing programs
  • Work closely with the product, design, and analytics teams to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience across all touchpoints
  • Continuously test and iterate on lifecycle campaigns, using insights to optimize messaging, timing, and channels

What you bring to the table:

  • 3-5 years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or retention marketing
  • Experience with lifecycle marketing automation tools
  • Strong understanding of customer segmentation, A/B testing, and campaign performance tracking
  • Ability to leverage data and analytics to inform campaign strategy and execution
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed performance goals and KPIs in lifecycle marketing
  • A passion for understanding user behavior and creating value-driven experiences throughout the customer lifecycle

Bonus points if you have:

  • Braze experience
  • Technical ability to build and execute campaigns

Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a starting base salary of $120,000 - $140,000, depending on location and experience, as well as company stock options
