The Life Enrichment Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors residing in assisted living communities by designing and implementing engaging, meaningful activities tailored to their unique needs. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience working with seniors, particularly in assisted living or similar care environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with memory-impaired seniors and adapt activities accordingly.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow through on assigned tasks and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to encourage and engage residents and collaborate with team members.
  • Basic proficiency in learning and utilizing new applications or technology relevant to activity planning and resident engagement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or training in recreational therapy, gerontology, or a related field.
  • Experience facilitating small group presentations or leading group activities in a senior care setting.
  • Familiarity with specialized programs or software designed for memory care or senior enrichment.
  • Demonstrated desire to serve and care for seniors beyond basic job requirements, showing empathy and patience.
  • Previous supervisory or managerial experience within an assisted living or senior care environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, coordinate, and implement a diverse range of activities and programs that cater to the physical, emotional, and cognitive needs of seniors, including those with memory impairments.
