Life Enrichment Associate -Kroontje Healthcare Center
The purpose of this position is to assist in developing and implementing activities, on a regularly scheduled basis, in compliance with requirements to meet residents’ needs. Responsible to perform duties as assigned by the Director of Life Enrichment to facilitate the programs in place.
Requirements:
- Able to work in a team setting and independently as well.
- At least one year of experience in life enrichment.
- Availability to work some weekends and holidays.
Job duties include:
- Treat residents, family, visitors, and coworkers with respect and dignity
- Plan and implement programs and events.
- Attend all in-services classes as assigned and complete assignments
- Document resident participation and incidents accurately and in a timely manner
- Observe all facility policies and procedures
- Accept assigned job duties in a cooperative manner
Rate:
- Starting at $16.00
Shifts/Hours/Schedules:
- Monday- Friday 8:30am- 5:00pm. Some weekends required.

Warm Hearth Village is a nonprofit 55+ retirement community on a 220-acre woodland campus in Blacksburg, Virginia, in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Founded by Dutch immigrants Wybe and Marietje Kroontje as an expression of gratitude to America, it offers active adult living, independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled and long-term nursing care, plus home health, home care and hospice services.
