Job Title: Licensed Electrician
Department: Grand Falls Fry Line
Reports to: Electrical Supervisor
Purpose : To ensure the proper operation of Line Equipment, WWTP Equipment, Utilities and Cold Storage Equipment
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and T raining requirements .

• Must be a licensed Industrial Electrician or enrolled in apprenticeship program
• Dual trade Industrial Mechanic / Industrial Electrician is an asset
• The Electrical Supervisor is responsible of providing safety, GMP, HACCP, environmental, equipment, software, or any other required training, as needed

Safety requirements :

• Attend Safety Talks
• Follow Lockout / Tag-Out procedures and all McCain Safety Policies
• Wear appropriate PPE and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Work safe and promote a safe working environment to fellow employees
• Complete Job Safety Plans / Recognize safety hazards and correct them
• Knowledge of CSA code for Electrical Rooms, Power Distributions and Construction Jobs

Job responsibilities :

• Carry out duties assigned by the Electrical Supervisor and E&I Planner
• Complete scheduled work and Preventive Maintenance (PM) work
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment problems and electrical system faults
• Perform basic PLC programming changes as necessary
• Use the computerized maintenance management system for processing work orders and preventative maintenance tasks.

• • Technically Complete (TECO) work orders and enter confirmation comments in SAP.
  • Identify equipment malfunctions and create Notifications in SAP to have issues addressed.

• Maintain shop and follow good housekeeping practices (5S)
• Follow McCain maintenance, HACCP and Environmental programs such as "Temporary Repairs", "Sanitation after Maintenance", Waste Management and Recycling, etc.
• Must be able and willing to perform shift work: 2 days / 2 nights and 4-off schedule, 12 hour shifts
• Must be able and willing to come in on days-off during Sanitation days and Shutdowns

NOTE:
This description constitutes the minimum requirements for a Line Electrician. Other duties may be assigned at management's discretion.

Compensation Package : $26.48-$35.28 CAD hourly
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
