📌 What We’re Looking For: Software Development Engineer Lead (Backend)
We are looking for Backend Engineering Lead to drive the development of high-quality, scalable, and robust backend systems that power our e-wallet platform. You will lead a team of engineers, shaping the technical direction, implementing best practices, and ensuring high standards of software quality. This role is critical to building reliable infrastructure and services that support millions of users while enabling the team to grow and thrive through strong mentorship and collaboration.
What You Will Do :
- Lead a team of software engineers in designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality software solutions using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot technologies.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and coaching to team members, fostering their professional growth and skill development.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, define technical solutions, and prioritize deliverables.
- Drive best practices in software development, including code reviews, unit testing, continuous integration, and deployment automation.
- Proactively identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and scalability challenges to ensure the long-term success of the e-wallet platform.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and advocate for their adoption within the organization.
What You Will Need :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java, Spring, and Spring Boot technologies.
- Understanding of financial systems or accounting principles (ledger, reconciliation, journal) is a plus.
- Deep understanding of software design principles, data structures, algorithms, and system architecture.
- Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering impactful solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
