📌 What We’re Looking For: Consumer Category

We are looking for a Consumer Category professional to drive the strategy, execution, and performance of consumer digital goods and online payment  categories, with a strong focus on telco products, biller/tagihan, and scope of financial services.

This role is a hands-on individual contributor position, responsible for owning category outcomes end-to-end—from commercial performance and partner coordination to cross-functional execution—while ensuring strong consumer experience and sustainable business growth.

What You Will Do :

  • Own and execute the consumer category strategy for digital goods (telco, billers, utilities, tagihan-based services)
  • Drive category performance across GMV, revenue, margin, conversion, retention, and transaction success rate
  • Develop and implement pricing, promotion, and bundling strategies to accelerate consumer adoption
  • Work closely with telco operators, billers, digital goods, financial service partners to support commercial and operational initiatives
  • Support commercial discussions by preparing analysis, performance insights, and optimization recommendations
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to improve consumer-facing category flows and features
  • Ensure smooth execution of category operations, including launches, campaigns, reconciliation, and issue resolution
  • Analyze consumer behavior, market trends, and competitor offerings to identify growth and optimization opportunities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, partnerships, finance, legal, data, operations) to deliver category initiatives
  • Prepare and share regular performance insights and recommendations with stakeholders

What You Will Need :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
  • 1-2+ years of relevant experience in Category Management, Commercial, Business, or Product-related roles, preferably in tech, fintech, or digital platforms
  • Hands-on experience managing digital goods products, especially:
    • Telco products (pulsa, data, roaming, etc.)
    • Billers / tagihan (utilities, internet, TV, insurance, financing, etc.)
    • online paymet financial service exposure
  • Strong understanding of category performance metrics, pricing, and margin optimization
  • Experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams on transactional consumer products
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Ability to operate independently with high ownership and accountability
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in fintech, e-wallets, marketplaces, or digital payment ecosystems
  • Exposure to high-volume, mission-critical consumer transactions
  • Background in consumer category growth, commercial analysis, or digital goods operations
  • Experience working in fast-paced or high-growth environments
