Job Description: Provide supervision for participants, staff and operations of a therapeutic rehabilitation program serving the adult SMI population, and provide direct services, and/or group and individual therapies per the participants’ person-centered recovery plans (PCRPs) to promote change toward wellness and independent living.
Role and Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, coordinate, implement and oversee a therapeutic program designed to reduce participants’ mental disability and promote restoration.
- Provide direct mental health services through the helping process of engagement, assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, and termination, as indicated by the treatment team and PCRP.
- Maintain understanding of and ensure compliance of all regulatory standards.
- Focus on growth, innovation, and program advancement in consultation with the VP CSS and agency vision.
- Recruit referrals and generate referrals to other support programs/resources to promote community reinforcement for participants.
- Clinical duties may include providing clinical supervision, therapy, group therapy or crisis care, and maintaining EMRs and completing treatment documentation as required.
- Administrative duties may include providing administrative supervision, participating in community outreach, and completing billing, pre-authorizations, timesheets, budgets, growth goals/objectives, data collection, fundraising and state reports.
- Collaborate with multiple disciplinary treatment teams and maintain collateral contacts with significant others as needed to foster participants’ continuity of care.
- Serve in after hour on call rotation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Master’s degree in psychology, Social Work or a human service-related field, who are licensed.
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings and background checks.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to move freely around program facility and to assist consumers when necessary.
Special Requirements
- Travel may be required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Dependable transportation.
