Level II MT/PT/UT/VT Technicians willing to be crossed trained in the NFPA qualifications- Various Locations
MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking Full time Level II MT/PT/UT/VT Technicians willing to train in the NFPA qualifications for the Hose, Aerial, Pump, Ladder testing background which accompanies these skills in the Fire/Emergency Services Market. Additionally the High Angle Rescue emphasis for Training, Equipment Sales & Support in PA, MI, FL, OH, LA, MS.
Applicants must be able to provide the following Documents:
- High School Diploma/GED/Degree
- Proof of classroom hours/Training in NDT
- Previous level II certifications/OJT
Major Responsibilities/ Activities
- Set up and calibrate equipment
- Conduct tests with appropriate NDT technique(s).
- Interpret, evaluate and document
- Must be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the method in which certified and capable of directing the work of trainees and Level I
- Must be familiar with the codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the method as utilized by the
- Work with minimal
- Identify and resolve problems in a timely
- Obtain and analyze information
- Edit and present numerical data effectively
Minimum Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A for the following is required: MT/PT/UTT
- Prior certification as an NDE Level II with one (1) year experience or prior certification as an NDE Level I technician with adequate field experience hours to certify to Level II per SNT-TC1A

Skills Required
- High School Diploma, GED, or degree
- Proof of classroom hours/training in NDT
- Prior Level II NDE certification or OJT
- Graduate of specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC-1A for MT/PT/UTT
- Minimum one year experience as NDE Level II or Level I with adequate field hours to certify to Level II per SNT-TC-1A
- Willingness to be cross-trained in NFPA qualifications (hose, aerial, pump, ladder) and high-angle rescue
- Ability to set up, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment and interpret results
- Familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and contractual documents for methods used
