Pathfinder Bank is seeking a Lending Administrative Specialist to support lending operations within a community banking and financial services environment. This role provides operational and administrative support by boarding new loans, processing line advances, preparing reports, responding to customer inquiries, and assisting the Lending Department with daily operational activities. Position Summary

The Lending Administrative Specialist provides administrative and operational support to the Lending Department by ensuring loan information is processed accurately and efficiently throughout the lending process. This position serves as a resource for internal and external customers by responding to inquiries, processing loan transactions, preparing reports, and supporting daily lending operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional customer service, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining compliance with Bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

Essential Functions

  • Board newly funded loans into the Bank's core processing system.
  • Process advances for loans in process and established lines of credit.
  • Prepare and analyze daily and monthly operational reports.
  • Prepare and distribute daily lending rate sheets.
  • Respond to internal and external customer inquiries regarding loan origination and loan closings.
  • Research customer requests and provide timely follow up.
  • Maintain accurate loan servicing records and system information.
  • Support daily lending operations and departmental objectives.
  • Collaborate with lenders and internal departments to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain compliance with Bank policies, procedures, internal controls, and applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Complete all required regulatory and job specific training.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional internal and external customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and accounting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One to three years of banking experience.
  • One to three years of administrative experience.
  • Knowledge of federal and state banking regulations.
  • Familiarity with core banking and front end data processing systems.
  • Experience supporting lending operations or loan administration.
  • Willingness to learn lending products, banking regulations, and departmental processes.
