Job Brief:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Specialist to join Jeeny's Legal team in Jordan. This position is for a legal professional eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. The Legal Specialist will work closely with other departments across the middle east with a focus on Jordan, providing day-to-day support across contract management, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and organize standard commercial agreements, NDAs, and vendor contracts using approved templates
- Track contract lifecycle milestones and maintain accurate legal trackers and documentation
- Monitor relevant regulatory updates in Jordan impacting company operations
- Support the preparation of regulatory submissions and compliance documentation for the LTRC and other authorities
- Act as a liaison between the Legal team and internal stakeholders (Operations, Marketing, HR, Finance) for routine legal matters
- Assist with corporate governance tasks, including entity filings and maintenance of legal records
- Conduct legal research and prepare concise memos, summaries, and briefing notes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university
- Admission to the Jordanian Bar, or eligibility to practice in Jordan, is preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in a law firm, in-house legal department, or regulatory environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English
- Basic legal drafting skills with the ability to work from templates
- Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks
