The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Draw on a background as a lawyer to advise senior decision-makers, design and run trial programs, and help an AI-powered product move from initial evaluation to full adoption. The role combines client-facing consultation, product demonstrations and feedback that shapes the product and sales approach.
What you'll do
- Take part in sales meetings alongside the sales team to learn what buyers need and shape their purchasing choices.
- Lead consultative meetings and tailored product demonstrations built around real legal workflows.
- Put together the justification for adopting new tools across different legal teams and plan trial deployments.
- Define what success looks like for a pilot and measure customer outcomes.
- Act as a dependable counselor to experienced senior leaders on the client side.
- Guide customers through process and behavior changes from pilot through full rollout.
- Share customer insights with product and sales teams to inform the product roadmap and go-to-market approach.
- Collaborate with marketing on content, messaging and customer success stories.
- Keep up with new AI developments affecting the legal sector and pass what you learn on to colleagues and the wider community.

- Legal experience as a practicing lawyer, whether in private practice or an in-house legal department, across common areas such as dispute resolution or transactional work, or as a legal technologist at a company building AI tools.
- Grasp of legal doctrine, how legal work gets done day to day, how firms are run, and the vocabulary of the profession.
- Understanding of how Toronto law firms operate, gained through experience in that market.
- Composed, senior-level bearing, clear spoken and written communication, and the capacity to connect with experienced decision-makers.
- Based in the Greater Toronto Area, within about 80 km of the Toronto office.
- Able to work in the office at least two days a week and in the city up to five days a week for client meetings.
- Steady career record with no roles lasting only about a year over the past three to four years.
