Our client, a fast-growing manufacturing company, is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.

Position Overview
The Legal Manager will serve as a strategic business partner, responsible for managing all legal, contractual, and compliance-related matters within the organization. The role ensures the company's full compliance with Vietnamese legislation, internal corporate policies, and global governance standards, while proactively mitigating legal risks in business activities.

Contract Management & Project Legal Support
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including sales, procurement, and project-related contracts.
  • Provide end-to-end legal support throughout the project lifecycle, including tendering, contract negotiation, claims management, and variation orders.
  • Ensure all contractual terms comply with internal policies and effectively mitigate potential legal risks.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Project, and relevant departments to ensure legal compliance across all business operations and project execution.
Corporate Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure full compliance with Vietnamese legal frameworks, including labor, commercial, investment, and related regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve internal legal policies and compliance systems.
  • Support internal audits and compliance reviews in alignment with headquarters and global standards.
  • Monitor changes in legislation and provide timely legal guidance and updates to management.
Risk Management
  • Identify, evaluate, and monitor legal risks arising from business operations, projects, and partnerships.
  • Develop preventive legal measures and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Handle disputes, claims, and legal matters involving customers, partners, and regulatory authorities.
External Relations & Legal Representation
  • Coordinate and manage relationships with external legal counsel, government agencies, and regulatory bodies.
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings or formal engagements when required.
Training & Legal Awareness
  • Deliver internal training sessions to enhance employees’ understanding of contracts, compliance, and legal risk prevention.
  • Foster and promote a strong culture of compliance across the organization.


Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law is required; Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • Licensed lawyer qualification is preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum 7–10 years of legal experience, ideally within multinational corporations or industrial/manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong background in commercial contracts, project contracts, and corporate compliance.
  • Experience working in Korean or global corporate environments is a strong plus.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong expertise in legal drafting and contract negotiation.
  • Deep understanding of Vietnamese legal regulations and international business practices.
  • Strong business mindset with solid risk assessment capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage complex legal matters effectively.
Language
  • Fluent in English (mandatory); Korean language proficiency is a strong advantage.
