Responsibilities:

  • Assist with implementing and managing technology solutions to streamline processes and operations, including developing process documentation and workflows
  • Supporting all activities related to the global Legal e-billing / Matter Management System, the processing of outside counsel billing and invoicing, providing functional support for the system, coordinating on boarding for new users, ongoing training of existing users, ensuring system integrity, and coordinating all contacts and interaction with IT.
  • Support internal legal website and global knowledge management initiative for the global legal group, including maintaining template libraries, content development and management and other areas relevant to the global legal group.
  • Assist with tracking legal budget and expenditures and implementing process improvements.
  • Assist with evaluation of technologies and underlying process requirements to assess future needs
  • Assist with prioritization and intake of projects and daily general correspondence

Required Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

  • 3 -5 years’ experience working on legal operations matters in a legal department of a publicly traded company or law firm.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the desire for continuous improvement.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with ability to multitask and balance competing deadlines; possesses a track record of managing project plans, timelines, and deadlines to completion.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both verbal and written communications.
  • A team player and self-starter.
  • Tech savvy, experience with legal technology systems
  • Comfortable liaising with IT
  • Familiar with Brightflag, SharePoint, and other legal technology solutions

For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.

For White Plains, NY: $61,500 - $90,000/year

  • Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
