Primary Function/General Purpose of Position
Under the direction of the Director of Legal Operations the Legal Operations Specialist will partner closely with the entire Legal Network team, internal clients and other shared service partners such as Finance, IT, and HR to drive efficiency, innovate and improve internal client experiences. The Legal Operations Specialist support all aspects of the information technology systems maintained by or on behalf of the Legal Network. The Legal Operations Specialist will support special projects of BSMH as those arise from time to time.
Essential Job Functions

Work side-by-side with the Director of Legal Operations to develop an agile, centralized legal process improvement capabilities in order to create processes and practices to improve the day-to-day efficiency and effectiveness within the Ministry.

Assist with implementing and managing all mission-critical tools and software for Legal and the Ministry including, but not limited to contract management systems, EBilling, entity management, service of process and Legal Holds.

Collaborate with the Director, Legal Operations, to deliver strategic and operational initiatives for the entire Legal Network by identify where process improvement activities can be deployed.

Collaborate with all members of the Legal Network, as well as Ministry-wide internal clients and other Shared Service stakeholders, to innovate and improve internal client experiences.

Serves as the Co-System Administrator for technology solutions owned by the Legal Network assisting with the development of legal and workflow templates and the intake processes for the Ministry.

Manage the creation of training modules and provide training sessions to the entire Legal Network and Ministry-wide internal clients on Ministry-wide systems, policies and other technologies.

Manage and support projects ensuring the objectives of the process improvement initiatives are understood and delivered.

Keep current on industry trends and areas of interest through the utilization of industry research and knowledge resources.

Participate in System-wide special projects, such as mergers/acquisitions, cost-savings initiatives and emergency response, as needed.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Legal studies, Healthcare administration, Business, health information management, or another related field (required)
Work Experience
Minimum of 5 years experience in legal department, law firm, large corporation, or professional services company.
Working Conditions
Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur.
Long-distance or air travel as needed- not to exceed 10% travel.
General office environment.
May have periods of constant interruptions.
Required to car travel to off-site locations, occasionally in adverse weather conditions.
Prolonged periods of working alone.
