The Role
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Legal Operations Processor to join the Summons & Subpoenas team in the Legal Services department as part of Global Operations. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com .
In this role, you will:
  • Support various operational tasks relating to subpoenas, levies and other legal documents representing Wells Fargo
  • Seek ways to improve customer service experience and determine proper course of action based on customer needs
  • Perform moderately complex administrative, operational and customer support tasks
  • Negotiate with external customers to assure resolutions and deadlines are met
  • Provide training to less experienced Operational Legal Specialists
  • Receive direction from supervisor and escalate non-routine questions
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal customers
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirement
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Legal Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only:
  • Experience in Legal Operations, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in legal order processing
  • Knowledge and understanding of processing and handling summons and subpoenas
  • Ability to identify potential operational issues and legal risks
  • Ability to read and interpret legal documents
  • Loan/Mortgage industry experience
  • Financial Industry experience
  • Experience managing a pipeline of work from assignment to completion
  • Ability to achieve high production and quality standards
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
Job Expectations:
  • Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm MST/PST
  • Overtime is based on business need and volume of the department, could be required
Training:
  • You will receive in-depth on-the-job training and coaching to learn about Wells Fargo banking products, procedures, and services.
  • Initial training will be for 6-8 weeks. Training hours are 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday (MST/PST). You are required to attend the full duration of this paid 6-8 weeks of training.
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule
  • No relocation
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
