Job Summary

We are looking for a Legal Operations Manager to strengthen the efficiency, agility, and strategic impact of our global Legal function. Working closely with the General Counsel and Directors across all Legal areas, this role drives operational excellence, digital transformation, AI integration, strong governance, and cross‑team alignment. You will play a central part in shaping a future‑ready, digitally enabled Legal organization.

Job Responsibilities

Operational Excellence & Performance

  • Optimize processes, workflows, and SLAs for fast, business‑centric Legal services.
  • Define and track KPIs including cycle times, satisfaction scores, risk metrics, and work volume dashboards.
  • Coordinate improvement initiatives with Stakeholders across Corporate, Commercial, Compliance, Litigation, Internal Audit, GRC and more.

Digitalization & Technology Enablement

  • Lead the Legal department’s digital transformation, including CLM, e‑billing, matter management, and automation tools.
  • Drive strong adoption and ensure LegalTech solutions meet operational needs.
  • Promote digital literacy through training, guidelines, and best practices.

AI Integration & Capability Building

  • Champion the use of AI in Legal workflows, such as contract review and document automation.
  • Partner with HR and IT on AI readiness, capability models, and upskilling plans.
  • Establish safe and ethical governance for AI usage within Legal.

Financial, Vendor & Resource Management

  • Oversee Legal budgets, external counsel spending, and vendor evaluations.
  • Support resource planning, workload distribution, and capacity forecasting with Directors.

Governance, Risk & Compliance Operations

  • Maintain strong governance frameworks and operational controls.
  • Support audits, policy updates, and risk mitigation activities across Legal teams.

Talent, Skills & Team Cohesion

  • Partner with HR and Legal Stakeholders on capability frameworks, workforce planning, and learning pathways.
  • Support onboarding, digital skills development, and AI‑oriented training.
  • Drive initiatives that promote collaboration, engagement, and a unified Legal culture.

Reporting, Data & Insights

  • Build dashboards and analytical reports on trends, workloads, KPIs, and strategic progress.
  • Work with Directors to interpret insights and drive continuous improvement.
  • Present consolidated findings to the General Counsel and Leadership Team.

Internal Brand & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Strengthen the Legal function’s identity as a proactive business partner.
  • Coordinate internal communications, storytelling, and visibility initiatives.
  • Foster cross‑functional collaboration with Finance, HR, IT, Compliance, Risk and others.

Change Management and Strategic Support Stakeholders

  • Act as a strategic advisor to Strategic Stakeholder, supporting prioritization, planning, and governance routines.
  • Demonstrated experience working with demanding stakeholders (legal leads, compliance, IT, business units).
  • Skilled at maintaining calm and structure in ambiguous or pressured environments.
  • Ability to influence without authority and build trust with lawyers and cross‑functional partners.
  • Clear communicator with strong follow‑up and expectation‑setting abilities.

Change Management & Adoption

  • Experience rolling out new tools or processes and driving user adoption.
  • Ability to run training sessions, create quick guides, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Required Skillset and Experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in Legal operations, project management, paralegal/contract operations, or similar roles where legal processes and tools are involved.
  • Experience participating in tech implementations (not necessarily leading full programs).
  • Exposure to contract lifecycle processes, external counsel management, and legal budgeting is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, define milestones, and track progress.
  • Experience working with IT or product teams is highly valuable.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to structure complex situations.
  • Collaborative working style but also autonomous when needed.
  • Curious and willing to learn new tools and legal technologies.
  • Advanced English is a Must
