Job Summary**
The Legal Operations Contract Manager will be a key member of PTC's Legal Operations team, responsible for optimizing the contract lifecycle management process, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Job Responsibilities**
* Manage and administer the contract lifecycle management (CLM) system, including configuration, user training, and ongoing support.
* Develop, implement, and maintain contract management policies, procedures, and best practices.
* Collaborate with legal, sales, finance, and other internal stakeholders to streamline contract workflows and improve contract turnaround times.
* Lead the identification, evaluation, and implementation of new technologies and tools to enhance legal operations and contract management capabilities.
* Conduct regular audits of contract data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
* Develop and deliver training programs for internal teams on contract processes, system usage, and compliance requirements.
* Generate reports and dashboards on key contract metrics to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making.
* Assist with the negotiation and drafting of various commercial contracts as needed.
* Stay abreast of industry best practices and legal technology trends to continuously improve the legal operations function.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in legal operations, contract management, or a similar role, preferably within a technology company.
* Proven experience administering and optimizing Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems (e.g., DocuSign CLM, Conga, Icertis).
* Strong understanding of contract law principles and legal terminology.
* Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
* Experience with legal spend management and e-billing systems is a plus.
